Texas DT talks Cyclone offer

Preparing to restock the interior defensive line in the Class of 2017, Iowa State has offered a tackle from a very successful high school program in Texas.

Head coach Matt Campbell gave Pearland’s Jordan Crawford the news in a phone with the recruit late last week.

Crawford has gotten heavy interest from Texas A&M and Houston, but it was the Cyclones who pulled the trigger first on an offer.

The 6-foot-1, 295-pound Crawford said he would like to taken an unofficial visit to Ames before his spring break is over this weekend.
