Parker visits Iowa State, comes away impressed

While he admits to being impressed with what Iowa State brings in terms of football facilities, a Missouri defensive line prospect said he was just as pleased with what the school offers academically in his field of study.

Blue Springs (Mo.) junior Daniel Parker spent his Saturday in Ames, watching a spring practice and getting the specifics on the type of major he’d like to pursue in college.

On the football field, the 6-foot-4, 245-pound Parker is a three-star prospect with a Rivals rating of 5.7. He already has Power-5 offers from ISU, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kansas State, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri and Nebraska.

As far as the football aspect of his visit, Parker Jr. said he was impressed with the weight room, indoor practice facility.
