With a three-star offensive lineman's list of Power-5 schools down to three schools, Iowa State put its best foot forward during an official visit over the weekend.
Glendale (Ariz.) Deer Valley senior Joey Ramos, a borderline four-star recruit with a 5.7 Rivals rating, said he got into much more detail with the coaching staff this weekend. The 6-foot-5, 285-pound had taken an unofficial visit to Ames last month during the Oklahoma State game weekend.
Offensive coordinator and line coach Tom Manning has spearheaded Ramos’ recruitment from the very start. The two sat down for another one-on-one visit over the weekend.
As is customary, Ramos' official visit wrapped up Sunday with a chat in Campbell’s office.
