Looking to fill a void at the safety position, the Iowa State coaching staff hosted a Florida defensive back prospect over the weekend.

Tampa Sickles senior safety Jontrey Hunter, a South Florida commit, returned home earlier today, saying the time he spent at Iowa State made a big impression.

Freshman defensive back O.J. Tucker hosted Hunter over the weekend.

The visit wrapped up earlier today with Hunter meeting with head coach Matt Campbell. The senior leveled with the leader of the I-State program on where he is in the process.
