Junior TE gets in work with ISU coaches

The chance to work with Iowa State's coaching staff on the practice field was the main appeal for 2019 Omaha (Neb.) Burke tight end Chris Hickman and his decision to attend the Cyclones' most recent Saturday Night Lights camp.

Hickman is a 6-foot-6, 195-pound junior who is originally from Austin (Tex.) He already has an I-State offer to his credit along with another from Ole Miss. He caught 15 passes for over 300 yards and seven touchdowns as a sophomore and those numbers could grow significantly for him over the next two seasons.

It's still early in the recruiting process for Hickman, who said he intends to wait until sometime in his senior year to make a commitment decision.
