Junior QB warming to Iowa St. offer

A dual-threat quarterback from the Lone Star State who will sign in the class of 2018 recently picked up his first Power-5 offer from Iowa State, and is talking about taking a visit to Ames in the coming months.

Tyler Robert E. Lee junior Chance Amie said he found out about the offer after Cyclones’ quarterback coach Jim Hofher was on campus during a recent contact period.

The 6-foot-4, 205-pound Amie said he has an invite to visit for any number of Junior Days and spring practice dates.

Amie also has an offer from Bowling Green to go along with heavy recruiting interest from Texas and TCU.
