Junior DB snags Cyclone offer

The Cyclones saw what they needed from a defensive standout during a satellite camp in Michigan and decided to offer the Class of 2019 player.

West Bloomfield (Mich.) defensive back Lance Dixon got his offer from assistant coach Tyson Veidt after performing well in drills and running a 4.49 40 time.

I-State isn’t the only program that has taken notice of the rising junior this year – he’s already secured a good mix of P5 and G5 offers. That offer list currently includes ISU, Kentucky, NC State, Purdue, Central Michigan, Western Michigan, Toledo, Ball State and Temple.

Given the fact he won’t sign for another year and a half, Dixon said he won’t release any lists of favorites for a while. But he says the Cyclones are presently near the top with him.

For more on Dixon's recruitment and how the Cyclones stack up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
