JUCO post-season, then off to ISU for Eisworth

Winning a regional championship is the first thing on the mind of an SEC bounce-back commit, but what's going on in Iowa State this season has also caught the recruit's eye.

Trinity Valley (Texas) redshirt freshman safety Greg Eisworth, who ended up at the school after spending the fall of 2016 at Ole Miss, will lead the defense into a matchup with Northeast Oklahoma on Saturday. A bowl game is then on the horizon for the 8-2 team.

While he was on the shelf with a leg injury for much of his first season at Ole Miss, this fall the 6-foot-0, 195-pound Eisworth has zeroed in on the technical side of playing the safety position at the college level.

Eisworth has compiled 36 tackles, two tackles-for-loss and a pair of interceptions this season at Trinity Valley.

For more on Eisworth's redshirt freshman season at Trinity Valley and what he thinks of the Cyclones' campaign, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
