JUCO Nixon nears announcement
One of the top defensive backs left on the board for Iowa State is a JUCO transfer from the southwest who will make a decision in the next weeks.
Arizona Western's Keisean Nixon hasn't forgotten that the Cyclones gave him his first offer to open the recruiting process, and that's one of the factors that has kept the program in the running. He is set to choose between Arkansas, ISU, California and Colorado State.
Either way, the 6-foot-0, 195-pound Nixon has already booked an official visit to Iowa Statein a couple months. Even if the Cyclones are to get a commitment from Nixon in a few weeks, they will need to keep him in the fold after he takes his other trips.
