Jr. Day spawns ISU offer for DE

It's a three-horse race of Big 12 schools vying for the services of a Kansas City area defensive end after the Cyclones offered a scholarship during a Junior Day event over the weekend.

Overland Park (Kan.) Blue Valley North junior Miles Emery said he found out the news during a conversation with head coach Matt Campbell.

The 6-foot-5, 235-pound Emery adds I-State to an offer list that includes Oklahoma and Kansas. Texas has also expressed early interest in him.

Emery's visit to Ames also included a meeting with defensive line coach Eli Rasheed.
