Iowa State goes first on tall CB

The Cyclones were the first to show faith in a Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex defensive back by offering a scholarship in March, and have followed up with steady contact ever since.

McKinney junior Akayleb Evans said he’s liked everything about the recruiting process between he and the Cyclones.

Evans said earlier this week that I-State is at the top of his list. He added an offer from Kansas of the Big 12 on Wednesday.

For more on Evans' recruitment and how ISU stacks up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
