Iowa State bets on Vegas OL

One of the top overall prospects in the state of Nevada for the Class of 2018 can pick from several Power-5 offers at this point. Iowa State is one of those schools and is set to meet with him over social media later on today.

Las Vegas Bishop Gorman offensive lineman Jacob Isaia said the interest from the Cyclones has really picked up lately, and started initially with offensive line coach and coordinator Tom Manning’s reaching out to him.

Throughout the spring, more coaches have been in contact with the 6-foot-3, 272-pound Isaia. The offensive lineman said he’s going to be in touch with even more later on today.

With a list of Power-5 offers that includes Arizona, Georgia Tech, Kansas State, Michigan State, Minnesota, Ole Miss, Oregon State, Syracuse, UCLA, Utah, Virginia and Washington State, Isaia has plenty of schools to choose from. But that hasn’t stopped the Cyclones from trying to make an impression.

For more on Isaia's recruitment and how the Cyclones stack up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
