Iowa St. in top group for 2018 DE

One of the top players at his position nationally recently picked up an offer from Iowa State after an assistant coach was in his school.

Conroe (Texas) Oak Ridge standout junior defensive end Joseph Ossai is already highly regarded by Rivals, being ranked as a three-star recruit, given a 5.7 ranking and standing as the 22nd overall player at his position nationally. The Cyclones also have taken notice.

Next up for Ossai, who presently has offers from Northwestern, SMU, Tulsa, Arkansas State, Cincinnati, Louisiana-Lafayette and Rice, is an unofficial visit over the winter months.

Ossai says the Cyclones are one of the early leaders out of his pack of offers.
