In-state DT excited by ISU offer

The Cyclones were the first Power-5 program to offer an in-state recruit from a program that is located in the University of Iowa's backyard.

Solon defensive tackle Tyler Linderbaum picked up an offer from the Cyclones recently and said that Campbell and his staff have made quite an early impression.

The 6-foot-2, 255-pound Linderbaum, who participated in one of ISU’s Saturday Night Lights camps last June, said that the staff in Ames has liked what it’s seen as far as his progress since then.

As a junior on a Solon team that finished 9-2, Linderbaum tallied 42.5 tackles, seven tackles-for-loss and three sacks.

For more on Linderbaum's recruitment and how the Cyclones up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
