I-State visits keep coming for Peterson

A defensive end recruit that has an Iowa State offer has taken four unofficial visits over the past several months, with his most recent stop coming on Monday. He's also planning to make a return trip for the season opener against Northern Iowa.

Beresford (S.D.) junior Blake Peterson said he has gotten to know head coach Matt Campbell and his staff much better during the course of his trips.

Peterson’s most recent visit came earlier this week when he watched a group of I-State backups and first-year players go at it on day one of training camp.
