I-State offer is tops for Vettorello

A Class of 2018 offensive lineman from Detroit, Michigan, recently picked up his first Power-5 offer from an Iowa State assistant coach.

Detroit Jesuit’s Carlos Vettorello said he’s been in touch with assistant coach D.K. McDonald, who was on campus recently and gave Vetterello his first Power 5 offer.

Given it was his first P5 offer to go along with others from Western Michigan, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Ohio and Toledo, Vettorello said he’s got a new leader at the top of his board.

In addition to his offers, Vettorello said he’s been in touch with Big 10 programs such as Indiana, Iowa, Northwestern and Wisconsin. He was on campus in Iowa City last weekend when the Hawkeyes beat Michigan.
