I-State battling for OKC DT

A junior defensive tackle that helped lead his team to new heights this past fall picked up an offer from the Cyclones last month and hopes to schedule an unofficial visit to Ames in the coming months.

Millwood three-star junior Israel Antwine said he’s started hearing a little more from the Cyclones since the day he received his offer from area recruiter Alex Golesh.

The 6-foot-2, 285-pound Antwine also has Big 12 offers from Oklahoma State and TCU, to go along with another at the P5 level, Ole Miss.

Antwine put together a solid junior season in helping his team march on to a Class 2A state championship, recording 65 tackles and six sacks along the way.

For more on Antwine's recruitment and how the Cyclones stack up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
