Galban looks to his Iowa St. future

The Cyclones' third commitment for the Class of 2018, a three-star wide receiver from the state of Texas, took an unofficial visit earlier this month that would ultimately lead to his making a decision.

Burnet junior Sterling Galban, who traveled to ISU on April 1st for the team’s final scrimmage prior to the spring game, said he reflected upon the experience over the past three weeks and decided it was the place he wanted to be.

The 5-foot-10, 175-pound Galban met with a pair of coaches during his visit and was sold upon the role he could play in Ames.

Galban also had offers from Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth and Nevada.

For more on Galban's commitment and what led to him making his decision, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
