Florida 4-star looking into Cyclones

Iowa State put itself in the running for a four-star defensive back from the state of Florida by extending an offer during the recruit's junior year.

Coconut Creek standout Miguel Edwards has already garnered plenty of attention from Power-5 schools and added the Cyclone offer during the fall.

The 6-foot-0, 165-pound Edwards already has P5 offers from the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Miami (Fla.), NC State, Oregon State, Syracuse, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

In addition to rating him a four-star recruit, Rivals has Edwards as the 221st-ranked player and 40th-ranked safety nationally.
