Early ISU offer means something to RB Collins

The Cyclones remain in good standing with a three-star running back from the state of Michigan that's seen his recruiting stock blow up after picking up an offer from head coach Matt Campbell early in the process.

University of Detroit Jesuit High junior Elijah Collins said he continues to hear from the Cyclone coaching staff, as his offer list has grown to include Power-5 programs Iowa, Wisconsin, Boston College, Michigan State, Syracuse, Minnesota and Missouri.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pound Collins, who totaled 1,027 rushing and receiving yards and 19 touchdowns as a junior, says the Cyclones covet his versatility when in the offensive backfield.

Since picking up the I-State offer, Collins has done his research and says he likes what he’s seen.
