Delgado primed for next I-State visit

Although a pair of Power-5 schools in his state recently stepped up with offers, an Arizona senior offensive lineman still remains high on the program that offered him first and plans to visit later this month.

Glendale Deer Valley senior Xavier Delgado, who last week had an in-home visit from offensive coordinator and line coach Tom Manning, is excited to return the favor with a trip to Ames.

Delgado’s recruitment has taken an interesting turn of late with the emergence of the two in-state Power-5 teams. I-State had long been the only offer in his collection, but Arizona and Arizona State stepped up the pursuit lately with ones of their own.
