Iowa State has big plans for a Class of 2017 linebacker from the state of Michigan, and the coaching staff is now looking forward to sharing more of those with him during an upcoming official visit.

Muskegon rising senior Andrew Ward said he's kept in steady contact with the coaching staff and is encouraged by the vision it has for him in the program.

In addition to his offer from the Cyclones, Ward also has Power-5 offers from the likes of Penn State, Nebraska, Virginia Tech, Arizona and Washington State.

For more on Ward's recruitment and how ISU stacks up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
