Cyclones pushing hard for Mich. DB

Iowa State is adding Michigan prep cornerback Richard Bowens in its Class of 2017 and is back in the state recruiting a junior standout just as hard as it did Bowens.

Rochester Adams junior Vincent Gray said he received the offer in the middle of basketball season, and has heard from the Cyclones constantly ever since.

I-State has made an effort to recruit the Michigan area hard ever since Campbell came on board in Ames, and Gray has noticed, saying he thinks the program is getting a good one in 2017 commit Richard Bowens of Orchard Lake St. Mary’s

In addition to the one he received from the Cyclones, Gray has P5 offers from Oregon State and Syracuse to go along with G5 schools Army, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Cincinnati, Kent State, Ohio, Temple, Toledo and Western Michigan.

For more on Gray's recruitment and how the Cyclones up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
