Cyclones offer Miss. JUCO DT

The Cyclones are one in more than a dozen offers for a Mississippi JUCO defensive tackle that played last season in the state of California.

Copiah-Lincoln sophomore-to-be Jonathan Lolohea has only been at the school for three weeks after transferring from Los Angeles Valley, but is getting attention from several programs. One of those is Iowa State, where former Co-Lin defensive tackle Demond Tucker starred before arriving in Ames.

The 6-foot-3, 305-pound Lolohea said the Cyclone coaches liked a number of aspects of his evaluation.

Lolohea is now up to double-digit offers, many of which he said came over a short time span recently. In addition to ISU, he has Power-5 offers from Arizona, Kansas, Maryland and Oregon State.

For more on Lolohea's recruitment and how the Cyclones measure up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
