Cyclones like Ike; KC lineman visits

Iowa State head coach Matt Campbell speaks to his staff's six-hour radius when recruiting prospects from around the Midwest, and certainly one of the higher-profile players from that area is a four-star offensive lineman from Missouri.

Kansas City Rockhurst junior Danielson Ike took his first unofficial visit to Ames this past Saturday and said he enjoyed his time in Ames and conversations with top assistant Tom Manning.

The 6-foot-6, 315-pound Ike is receiving tons of interest from programs across the Midwest and beyond, collecting P5 offers from Iowa State, Kansas, Louisville, Missouri, Nebraska and Syracuse. The four-star recruit has a 5.8 Rivals rating, is the fourth overall prospect in Missouri and 26th offensive tackle nationally.
