Cyclones lead for Georgia LB

A three-star linebacker from the state of Georgia with an offer list approaching two-dozen has the Cyclones as his top school and hopes to take an unofficial visit to Ames in the near future.

Douglasville Alexander three-star junior Aaron Casey said he’s heard from three members of the Iowa State staff, and that one coach has been to his school twice in recent weeks.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Casey said he sees the similarities in what he brings to the table and what ISU asks its linebackers to do.

In addition to Iowa State, Casey also has Power-5 offers from Indiana, Rutgers and West Virginia, to go along with a host of programs in the G5 ranks.

For more on Casey's recruitment and how the Cyclones stack up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
