Cyclones in mix for Rivals150 PF

It won't be easy to pry 2017 four-star forward Aamir Simms out of ACC country, but the Iowa State coaching staff is making a strong play to that end.

The 6-foot-8, 215-pound Simms said that Iowa State is one of the schools he is currently hearing from the most. The No. 104 player in the country (according to Rivals.com) has a multitude of high major offers and will have no shortage of places to play in the Eastern time zone if he wants. But Simms said he's intrigued by the idea of spending his college years in a new part of the country.

If Simms is to visit ISU and Ames, it will most likely not happen until he could take an official visit in the fall.
