Cyclones 1st Power 5 offer for DE
After getting a better evaluation of a Michigan prep defensive end later in the season, Iowa State pulled the trigger on an offer last month. Now the staff is in position to get the prospect in for an unofficial visit.
Southfield junior Devin Baldwin said he first started hearing from the Cyclones this past fall, and the interest culminated last month with an offer.
The 6-foot-4, 230-pound Baldwin said the staff was sold on his ability to move in space and play multiple spots up front.
In addition to ISU, Baldwin has three MAC offers from Akron, Bowling Green and Western Michigan.
