Cali teammates visiting soon

The Cyclone coaching staff is set to host a pair of So-Cal teammates that helped lead their team on a state championship run this past season. One of those is a bruising running back with one other Power-5 offer.

Bellflower St. John Bosco junior running back Demetrious Flowers said he was excited to pick up an offer from the same Power-5 school that is in on his teammate Re-Al Mitchell.

As a junior, the bruising runner tallied 955 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns. But it wasn’t until within the past month and a half that Flowers started getting the attention from recruiters, picking up P5 offers from ISU and UCLA.

The 6-foot-1, 210-pound Flowers said he’s in no hurry to make a commitment.

For more on Flowers' recruitment and how the Cyclones up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
