Atl ATH pegged for defense by I-State

Iowa State has stepped up its recruitment of the state of Georgia since Matt Campbell and his staff came on board after the 2015 season, and one of the program's most recent offers went out to a three-star athlete from there.

Atlanta Marist junior Kyle Hamilton said he heard the news from an assistant coach that made an in-school visit during the recent recruiting period.

The 6-foot-3, 183-pound Hamilton said the offer is a big one, given the season the Cyclones are coming off of.

I-State is the fourth Power-5 offer Hamilton has collected. He also has offers from Baylor, Louisville and Vanderbilt, to go with others in the G5 and FCS ranks.
