Alabaman Webb pleased by Iowa State offer

A prolific high school running back in the SEC's backyard picked up an offer from Iowa State after leading his team to a state championship, and says the coaching staff has been in constant contact ever since.

Opelika Beauregard junior La’damian Webb, a first-team all-state selection in the state of Alabama, picked up an Iowa State right after helping lead his team to the Class 5A state championship, and now claims ones from Indiana, Bowling Green and Troy. The prolific high school tailback is just 21 miles away from Auburn’s Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Since picking up an offer from the Cyclones, the 5-foot-8, 184-pound Webb has done his research on what the program brings on and off the field.

A pair of coaches has been in the most contact with Webb to this point, and one of those is the head man himself Matt Campbell.
