3-star safety considers I-State visit

Iowa State recently put itself in the running for a top safety prospect from the state of Missouri, offering the recruit and putting him in touch with most of the coaching staff by phone.

Florissant (Mo.) Hazelwood Central standout junior Dallas Craddieth, who is the 26th player nationally at his position and the eighth-ranked overall player in the state for 2018, said he received the offer over the phone from defensive coordinator and safeties coach Jon Heacock.

ISU’s staff would next like to host Craddieth over the winter months for a Junior Day.

In addition to his Cyclone offer, Craddieth claims offers from Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, Northwestern, Syracuse and Memphis.

For more on Craddieth's recruitment and how ISU stacks up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
