2020 StL WR hauls in ISU offer

A Class of 2020 wide receiver from a city that the Cyclones are placing a lot of emphasis on recruiting recently reported an offer from the program.

St. Louis (Mo.) DeSmet sophomore Jordan Johnson picked up an offer from the Cyclones, and now has that to go with another from Nebraska. Coaches are limited in their contact with sophomore recruits, so the wide receiver said he heard about it from another source.

The 6-foot-2, 182-pound Johnson said wants to learn more about the program in future months, and says he's friends with two other area recruits with offers from I-State.

Johnson said he believes a few areas of his game have appealed to college coaches this early in the recruitment process.

For more on Johnson's recruitment and how the Cyclones stack up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
