Iowa State is No. 1 for 2018 RB

Iowa State locked up a Class of 2017 recruit from the Lone Star State earlier this week following an unofficial visit, and the coaching staff has also put itself in prime position with one of the prospect's teammates.

Cedar Hill Class of 2018 running back Joshua Fleeks, who made the trek with Cyclone defensive end verbal Deven Lamp, said he enjoyed his time so much he's already talking about returning to I-State in the near future. Fleeks said he liked all aspects of his trip to Ames, especially how the coaching staff laid out what his future role could be in the offense.

In addition to I-State, the 6-foot-0, 167-pound Fleeks also has offers from Illinois, Houston and SMU.
