An offer from the Cyclones was the biggest highlight of the day for a 2019 cornerback recruit that was on campus Saturday for the Cy-Hawk game.

LaGrange Park (Ill.) Nazareth Academy junior Devin Blakley said he talked to several Cyclone coaches during his time, and enjoyed what he saw of the football facilities in Ames.

The defender was invited to the game, along with teammates Diamond Evans and Jermaine Baker who do not have offers. Another one of Blakley’s high school teammates, defensive tackle Isaiah Lee, is one of the Cyclones’ 2018 commitments.

Blakley also has an offer from Bowling Green to go along with Big 10 interest from Penn State, Northwestern and Illinois.

For more on Blakley's game-day visit and how the Cyclones stack up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
