One of the top few high school recruits in the state of Ohio for the Class of 2019 has an Iowa State offer and is looking into taking his second unofficial visit to Ames over the summer.

Washington Massillon’s Jamir Thomas won’t sign a national letter-of-intent until February of 2019, but has already gotten Power-5 offers from the likes of ISU, Michigan, Michigan State, Rutgers, Minnesota and West Virginia, with Cincinnati also in the mix.

Thomas was on ISU’s campus last summer, and said he’s heard from the coaches steadily since then.

With an offer list that continues to increase in numbers, Thomas doesn’t sound like he’s anywhere close to picking favorites or making a commitment.

For more on Thomas' recruitment and how the Cyclones stack up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
