Young OL experiences I-State in person

A massive sophomore offensive lineman from St. Louis, Missouri, was on campus last weekend checking Iowa State out for the first time.

Class of 2019 big man Ira Henry, of St. Louis (Mo.) Trinity Catholic, already has an offer from the Cyclones and made the trip with several teammates and coaches.

The 6-foot-5, 320-pound Henry, who also has offers from Illinois, Syracuse and Bowling Green, said he’s been recruited the most by I-State head coach Matt Campbell and offensive coordinator and line coach Tom Manning.

Henry says a number of aspects of the Cyclones’ program stand out to him.

For more on Henry's recruitment and how the Cyclones up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
