Winter visit, spring return for CB

Iowa State continues to recruit a Class of 2019 cornerback recruit from the state of Missouri, who has had an offer from the program for several months.

O’Fallon John Burroughs junior Derrick Miller, who was on campus in January for an unofficial visit, said the Cyclones have made a positive impression on him, as he targets a decision over the next few months.

Position coach D.K. McDonald has taken the lead role in the recruitment of the 5-foot-11, 160-pound Miller.

ISU and Iowa remain the lone Power-5 offers for Miller, who has also been getting attention from Northwestern, California, Nebraska, Arkansas and Wisconsin.
