There's been much speculation about Hayward Stellar Prep’s Addison Gumbs taking an unofficial visit to Iowa State. To nail down the facts, we spoke directly with the 6-foot-3, 211-pound Gumbs and let him tell us whether or not he has set a date to take in the ISU campus in person.
Gumbs gives the Cyclone staff high marks for how it's recruited him since offering in mid-February. With many powerhouse programs courting him, Gumbs said he was impressed by the plan ISU has in place to become one of those top schools.
