Vegas OL staying in touch with ISU

Iowa State offered an offensive lineman from Pac-12 territory earlier this year and one member of the coaching staff has remained in steady contact ever since.

Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman’s Jacob Isaia has had a Cyclone offer for several months and says he’s continuing to learn more about the program through his conversations with offensive coordinator and line coach Tom Manning.

The 6-foot-3, 280-pound big man said he likes a number of aspects of I-State’s program.

With an offer list that contains the likes of Arizona, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Kansas, Kansas State, Louisville, Michigan State, Minnesota, Ole Miss, Oregon State, Syracuse, UCLA, Utah, Vanderbilt, Virginia and Washington State, it would be tempting for Isaia to narrow his focus. But that’s not his style.

For more on Isaia's recruitment and how the Cyclones stack up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
