The recruitment of a prep quarterback from the state of Tennessee will likely go into the final hours leading up to signing day next month, but Iowa State is in solid position and has him scheduled for an official visit.

Columbia Spring Hill’s Tylin Oden has been a soft commit to Louisville for more than seven months, but has decided to take a look around at other opportunities.

ISU has increased its interest in the 6-foot-5, 175-pound Oden over the past month, since Matt Campbell’s new staff moved into place in Ames.

Despite playing for a team that finished the season with a 3-7 record, Oden passed for 1,389 yards and rushed for 922 more, combining for 25 touchdowns and throwing seven interceptions.
