Tolson's top six includes Cyclones

A rising senior linebacker from the Sunshine State says he would like to take an unofficial visit to Iowa State this summer, in large part because the program is in his list of favorites.

St. Petersburg Admiral Farragut Academy’s Khalan Tolson says much of his interest in the Cyclones has been spurred by the job Matt Campbell and his staff have done recruiting him.

The 6-foot-0, 205-pound Tolson said he likes his chances to factor into the defense right away if he chooses to sign with I-State.

In addition to ISU, Tolson also has Power-5 offers from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisville, Michigan, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers and Syracuse, as well as a from a host of G5 programs.

For more on Tolson's recruitment and how the Cyclones stack up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
