Tenn. RB preps for Iowa State visit

One of the Cyclones' visitors this weekend for the home game against Kansas will be a three-star running back from the state of Tennessee.

This will be the second official visit of the process for Cordova three-star running back Jeremy Banks, who traveled to Wyoming the weekend of September 16th. In addition to ISU, the 6-foot-2, 210-pound Banks has Power-5 offers from the likes of Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Purdue, Utah and Virginia Tech.

A pair of I-State coaches have been in contact throughout the recruiting process with Banks, who says he’s anxious to be catching up with the Cyclones a week after their upset victory over the Sooners.

Banks said he has no other official visits scheduled at this point, and is unsure on when he’ll make a decision.

For more on Banks' recruitment and how the Cyclones stack up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
