Summer visit possible for Fla. DB

One of three teammates with offers from Iowa State, a Florida prep safety is planning on taking an unofficial visit to Ames sometime this summer.

Delray Beach safety Marquis Waters is one of three Atlantic High School Class of 2017 prospects with offers from Iowa State. Cornerback Datrone Young and wide receiver Corey Gammage are the others to have collected offers this spring.

The 6-foot-0, 193-pound three-star recruit also has Power-5 offers from California, Duke, Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, Nebraska, NC State, Purdue, Rutgers, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Wisconsin

Waters said he received some great feedback from the Cyclone coaches on what they’ve seen throughout the recruiting process.
