Summer decision for 3-star TE?

Iowa State is building a stronger presence in the Chicagoland area and one of the recruits in the area the coaching staff is pursuing for the Class of 2017 is a three-star junior tight end.

Lemont junior Logan Christopherson visited Ames back in March for a Junior Day and has kept in tables with the Cyclone program since then. I-State assistant coach Lou Ayeni was on campus last week for spring evaluations and gave a solid report on how much the recruit has developed.

The 6-foot-6, 225-pound tight end said he enjoyed his visit over the winter, and that his primary recruiter Alex Golesh has been keeping tabs on him.

In addition to ISU’s offer, Christopherson has ones from Illinois, Missouri and Syracuse. The recruit said he’s looking forward to making a decision prior to the start of his senior year.

For more on Christopherson's recruitment and how ISU stacks up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
