Suburban soph set for day at ISU

One of the top class of 2019 recruits in the state of Iowa will be in Ames this weekend for a basketball game and plans to meet with the football coaching staff.

Johnston cornerback Anthony Coleman said he has heard a lot from I-State and will be on campus this weekend for a basketball game.

This will be Coleman’s first trip to Ames since the 2016 football season, when he made three game-day visits and got to have a one-on-one conversation with Matt Campbell on the day of the Kansas State game.

In addition to the Cyclones, Coleman said he has received interest from Iowa, Florida State, Nebraska, Northwestern and Wisconsin.
