Speedy Texan runs down ISU offer

A Class of 2018 athlete from the Lone Star State was a burner on the football field this past season, so it only made sense that he had a lot of interest from college coaches for his track exploits. It wasn't until recently that a Power-5 football program stepped up with an offer.

Mansfield junior Jackson Gleeson said he’s been in touch with a pair of Iowa State coaches and recently picked up his first offer.

I-State coaches will get a better look at Gleeson during the January recruiting period, as the wide receiver said he heard they will into Mansfield to visit with his coach.

In addition to his ISU offer, Gleeson has also reportedly gotten looks from Duke and Bowling Green.

For more on Gleeson's recruitment and how the Cyclones up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
