Speedy in-stater shines at camp

A talented two-way athlete, who is also one of the most prolific track athletes of all-time in the state of Iowa, was on campus this past weekend for the Cyclones' Saturday Night Lights camp.

West Burlington's Isaiah Trousil said he enjoyed the interaction with the new coaches in Ames and looks forward to building an even stronger relationship.The 5-foot-11, 180-pound Trousil already has FCS offers from Illinois State and Northern Iowa to go along with interest Power-5 programs around the Midwest.

Trousil certainly turned heads over the spring track season, running a career-best 10.64 seconds in the 100-meter and 21.33 in the 200-meter dashes. His time in the 200m ranks second all-time in the state of Iowa, while the 100m time is fourth.
