Soph QB is high on Iowa State

A Class of 2018 quarterback the Cyclones recently offered was on campus in late-February for a Junior Day and came away impressed with what he saw of the program.

Pattonville Maryland Heights sophomore Kaleb Eleby, who traveled to Ames on February 27th, said he enjoyed his experience with quarterbacks coach Jim Hofher and the rest of the staff.

Eleby said he feels like he’ll be a good fit for the offense that I-State will implement for the upcoming season.

The starting quarterback for Maryland Heights since his freshman year, Eleby threw for more than 2,000 yards and 22 touchdowns last fall as a sophomore.
