School encounter with Campbell impresses 2020 OL

Power-5 schools from around the Midwest are already starting to take notice of a Class of 2020 lineman from a St. Louis (Mo.) high school.

One of the most recent schools to jump on board with an offer for Lutheran North Class of 2020 lineman Kevon Billingsley is Iowa State, which was on campus last week.

Head coach Matt Campbell and assistant D.K. McDonald made the trek to the St. Louis high school last Thursday, and an offer was extended after the two watched the prospect's sophomore highlights.

The 6-foot-5, 260-pound Billingsley has also added offers from Illinois, Iowa and Kansas since his sophomore season wrapped up. He is listed in the Rivals database as an offensive tackle, but could also factor in on defense at the next level.
